Oncoming Revamp!

Blogger was being difficult and not allowing me to post. >.< But I think I fixed it for now.
We're going to have a new layout soon and I'm just going to revamp the site. Some light bulbs need to be replaced, so I'll be closing the requests for a little bit.

Okay, I now have a brand new laptop that is 4x better than my old laptop. It has much more space. o.o 450GB :D So I'm happy.

But okay, I've got the new email set up and the new request pages done. :) I just have to wait for my staff to reply to the email I sent from the new email.

A SMALL WARNING TO REQUESTERS: School is coming up soon, so I'm almost positive that some staff will focus solely on school work. And like this summer, things may have to be reassigned. It's not set in stone that it'll happen but like I said, just a small warning.

A SMALL NOTICE TO STAFF MEMBERS: Since school is coming up soon, I want you guys to know that if you're caught up in your school work, just tell me and I'll give you the option of having extended time on your request(s), or to have it(them) reassigned.

A "Sort of" Hiatus

Okay, this hiatus isn't because of pressure or anything. It's because mother nature decided to make lightning hit my house and basically fry every electronic device (including my laptop). Meaning that I don't know how often I can check the email for requests because I also don't know how long it will take for the insurance company to replace our stuff. So I'll have access to the internet for a few days every week, but not everyday. That's why it's a sort of hiatus. I'm not closing the request forms, just informing that there might be a small delay.

Don't worry, no requests are cancelled, the review I have to do might take a little longer than I wanted it to. Plus I've been procrastinating. T.T Shame on me. I think I'll get around to it though.

And for those nice people wondering, I got back from the hospital a little while ago and everything is fine. My buddy and I were shocked (literally) by the lightning, but it didn't do enough damage to be serious. I hope you guys are having a better day than me. :)

Regarding Review Requests

Okay, I had to drop several of the review requests. I dropped the requests whose stories already had one or more reviews. So that lifts up the work load. And I've had to reassign almost everything lately. I think it's very discouraging, but I'm hoping my staff return to contact soon. I mean, I'm not angry that they're out of touch for the moment. Because really, it's summer. Fun and free time is distracting. So as long as there aren't too many requests, I think we'll survive.

And again, to GoChun, I hope you liked the happy birthday poster I made for you on behalf of Formal Imperfections and Xeplae. I hope you had a great birthday.

regarding requests! + other things

Because of the lack of reply from my staff (mostly reviewers), I reassigned almost everything, so that I can just finish them up myself. I'm doing my best to avoid cancelling requests. :] I'm going to try to complete them during this week and next week. Remember, I said try. I'm no miracle worker, but this isn't a miracle I'm working so we're good.

Also, I've re-organized the request forms. It's not Wufoo. I'm going to try it out. And if it goes good for a while, I'll keep it. And with the new request forms I'm changing the email of Formal Imperfections to formalimperfections@yahoo.com. Gmail was irritating me, so I said whatever and just made one on yahoo.

And I know I haven't had this layout up for long, but I want to put up the next one soon. It's a summer theme with yellow, blue, and a faint orange color. Very mood lifting. :]

Dear Staff, Requesters, and Staff Appliers,

Okay, so I re-organized almost everything. I want to clean up the rules, too... So I'll do that now. If your request isn't in the status section, comment in the cbox to let me know. I'll dig through my inbox to find the request and stick it up asap.

Plus, to everyone who applied for staff, I'm VERY sorry. I didn't realize that I left the form up until I changed the layout. And that's a fault on my part, so I apologize. The staff application part is no longer available and all staff applications that were filled out will be discarded. But if you are DYING for a position, just email me and maybe we can work something out. I feel reasonable for the time being.

Also, I'm thinking about switching the site email to one on yahoo. The contacts section in google is difficult to manage. So that would require me to close requests for a few days to forward everything to the new email, and get the contacts organized. That would also mean that I would have to clear up all current requests, which is another thing I'd like to update on.

The end of the year closing in fast, and I know that everyone's dedicating their efforts to schoolwork and tying up loose ends before the clock hits "0:00." That's why I've been tolerant of the lack of replies. So I will be expecting things to pick back up by June. Several requests are due, and if you don't have the time for them just let me know. There won't be any consequences, just please don't have me keep sending you requests if it's cracking more pressure on you to the point where you won't get them done. Keeping in touch is VITAL for request site health.

Plus, a well respected affiliate has seemingly cracked under pressure of her own. It makes me sad and I'm trying to help her get back up to speed, but she didn't reply to my email. And I feel guilty. :(

So yeah, back to the updates... I'm asking ALL staff members to check in the staff section to make sure that their name is there. If not, let me know. I'll fix it. Because requests are starting to roll in and I want to know who's here and who's not.

I love that irrelevant sound. =w= hehe, anyways, for everyone who sent in a review, we got them. It's just that my staff are probably caught up on school. So I might have to do some T.T maybe I could update the status page first. :) That sounds good. Procrastination is my greatest weapon.

We probably have like 12 (and counting lol) new affies so I don't feel like weeding through previous posts to find out which ones. v...v so laaaazy, I know :( but if you wanna know just look in the affiliates section.

I feel like making a new layout. I might just do an inverse of the one for my blog. Speaking of my blog, I should update that too. G O S H. so much to doooo >.<

Yeah, it's been a while >.< Sorry. Life's been unrelenting at giving me something to do, think about, and stress out. But I'm gonna get things in order. Hyonni's grounded. So you guys'll have to put up with me for a while. I'm going to clean things up a little too. I might take out some things in the staff information to make it easier to manage. I already cleaned up the pick up section. And I have to put up the gift section again. There's a site coming up soon that we'll be working in collab with. But we don't have to dwell too much on that just yet. She's still getting everything set up. But I can say that it's called "Kijin Creations". So we've got a few new staff and affies. Traffic is slowly picking up, so if you're in the mood to advertise, feel free to, when of course the creators of Winglin decide to stop redirecting to Ask. Aaaalrighty! So it's Christmas Eve guys, and I hope everyone's enjoying their day.
I'm going to say that Ver.3.5 will be up when Hyonni gets back. >w< It's her (and yours, of course) surprise. I think it's pretty nice. I made the status a little different because it incorporates Javascript; even as much as I hate Java, it's convenient for visitors so I decided to bare with it. I'm not gonna go too into detail, You'll see it around New Years. The last I'm gonna say about it is that it features Hyonni's favortite artist. =]

So I've still got a few requests from other sites, and I finally made an affie button for this site. =w= hehe, I hate how I procrastinate. But yeah, I've gotta work on making gifts because we got a lot more than I thought. We're finally growing out of the newbie phase. Wooh!

Oki dokie, so we have two more staffs, another reviewer, dramafreak4eva, and our first GD, jusce (Orphey technically doesn't count, let's hope she doesn't spite me xD). Our family's getting BIGGER! YAY. I can actually feel special now, sorta because we have four more affies~!! =D Unfortunately, six still isn't mah favorite numbah, but it's getting closer! YAY.
